References to “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Student Property Spy Limited, trading as Property Spy.

How to participate

To take part in the scheme, you must be at least 18 years of age and live in the United Kingdom.

If you are aware of a vacant or derelict residential house or flat (the “Property”), please inform us by filling out the ‘I’ve found a Property’ form on our website, Propertyspy.uk. You must complete all required fields, including the address of the Property and your contact information.

To participate, we will need from you the address of the Property;

You may report as many properties as you are able and be sure to supply all relevant and accurate details.

By submitting a Property, please understand that we may consult our commercial partners and others.

Property Eligibility Criteria

A Property is eligible for a reward if, at the time of reporting:
It is located in a residential area, where we deem the property saleable;
It is not entirely commercial;
It is not a property we are already aware of;
It is located in the counties of England;
It is not currently on the open market for sale or rental, nor has it been advertised for sale or to let in the past 12 months;
It has been vacant for more than 6 months, unless it is in probate;
It has not been purchased within the last 2 years;
It is not, and never has been, owned by a local authority, housing association or registered charity.
It is not currently undergoing or has recently undergone refurbishment or development

We reserve the right to request photographic evidence if Google Maps images are outdated, and only properties that appear to be in poor condition due to neglect or disuse will qualify for rewards.

Gift Voucher Reward

If the Property satisfies our requirements and you complete the ‘I’ve found a property’ process, then you will qualify to receive a £20 gift voucher of your choice.

We will inform you by email if the Property fulfils our requirements for a gift voucher within 6 weeks after we have received your report.

Vouchers will be sent by email. Please note that vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash and are subject to the terms and conditions of the provider.

If you have any concerns about use of the voucher, pleased apply to the provider.

You may not copy, sell or trade the voucher. Any unlawful use of the voucher may result in disqualification from the scheme, including any further rewards.

Should you be unable to redeem your voucher, we may, at our discretion, replace it or provide an alternative reward.

This scheme is subject to change or withdrawal at any time without prior notice.

1% Cash Reward

If you notify us of a Property and we successfully purchase it, you may be eligible for a 1% cash reward.

You will qualify for the cash reward if:
We purchase the Property as a result of your notification;
You have not been disqualified from the scheme;
The Property meets the eligibility criteria;
You are not in breach of any of the Conditions.

The cash reward will be equivalent to 1% of the actual purchase price. You will be informed of the purchase and the value of your reward by email.

We reserve the right to decline the purchase of any Property for any reason and are under no obligation to inform you of our decision or any negotiations.

Additionally, we will make a donation of £1,000 to our chosen charity.

Confidentiality

You agree not to disclose any details regarding the purchase price of the Property or any information related to our business without our written consent.

Personal Data and Marketing

By participating in this scheme, you consent to us sharing your personal data with our sponsors, partners, and the voucher provider, solely for the purpose of issuing rewards. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

You agree that we may use non-identifying details of your reward for marketing and promotional purposes. With your explicit consent, we may also use personal details, photographs, or other identifying information for marketing purposes.
